OUTDOOR EVENTS
Outdoor events are a perfect benefactor of remote sensing data. From pre-planning to promotions to real-time data. Flying Fox was able to provide the Loudoun County Fair, a map that aided in site planning and locate level areas for vendor booths, identify run-off pathways in case of rains, traffic flow for improved access, parking patterns, and more. During the event we provided real-time data showing attendee and vehicles numbers at intervals throughout the day, helping to identify the flow and most popular times of day. In addition, preparing the information map below that identified the current layout of the fairgrounds for fairgoers to optimize their experience.

residential planning
Another way to use remote sensing data is for planning changes to your personal residence. Viewing your plat and incorporating overlays helps you plan out the perfect backyard oasis! In lieu of the dated, low resolution google earth image, this homeowner wanted an updated visual of their property to help plan out the backyard hardscape and landscape changes. Identifying utilities, existing hardscape and landscape to help design and plan the changes was invaluable.
